Studio & Gallery

Welcome to our World

Our adventurous pottery comes to life in a place where the craggy Olympic Mountains give way to gentle terrain.

Millbrook Clayworks is under the roof of a building that was, at one time, a house moved from nearby valley. Yes, it came with a bit of history. Now, we’re writing a new chapter by transforming it into a wonderful studio and gallery. As a visitor you’ll get a ‘behind the scenes’ look at how our artful pottery is made.

The Studio

Quite simply, it’s our space to create pottery.  Complete with all the equipment we need to make it happen. Hands on. Sometimes messy. The result:  beautiful finished pieces.

The Gallery

An inviting showroom (in what was once probably the living room) is filled with a great selection of new work…some pieces fresh out of a kiln opening!

Millbrook Clayworks GalleryCome visit during our open hours:
Tuesday – Thursday 11am – 5pm or contact us to make an appointment.

The Green Side: Our Studio/Gallery building itself is rather small.  We like the fact that the modest size lowers our carbon footprint.  To offset our energy use we purchase Green Power to run all our electrical equipment, walk and bike to work most days and recycle clay scraps (as well as the ‘usual’ stuff).
